Description
A tension spring for a high-tensile fence. It keeps the wire at the right tension and takes up the wire expanding and contracting as the weather changes.
The notches show how far it is compressed: 1 inch (25 mm) is about 150 lb (68 kg) of tension. Use it with an in-line strainer.
