Lacme 12 mm blue fence tape, 400 m

Description

A 12 mm tape in bright blue, 400 m to the reel, with reinforced edges. It has five conductors of 0.25 mm each: three stainless steel and two copper, grouped so they resist cutting. Lacme lists it for horses, cattle and sheep.

It is one of Lacme's standard tapes, best on ground sheltered from the prevailing wind. For a longer life, keep posts no more than 3 m apart and use insulators that lock the tape. Resistance is 0.18 ohm per metre and the longest run is 16 km.
