Description

A mains fencer for very long fences and stock that are hard to contain. It puts out 6 J (5 J at 500 ohm) at a peak of 15,000 V, at 45 pulses a minute.

A back-lit screen shows the output voltage and the level of vegetation on the fence, with a voltage bargraph beside it. There are three terminals: earth, fence at full power, and a third that gives a reduced pulse for a pen of weak or sensitive animals, or acts as a fence return loop. A green light shows the loop is closed.

It works with Lacme Sentinel fence responders, whose voltage the screen can show. Use 20,000 V insulated cable, put the earth stake at least 10 m from the building's mains earth.
