A tensioner and insulator in one piece for the corner post of an electric fence. It hangs on a free-standing S-hook, which keeps the wire isolated from the post, and you tension the wire with a 1/2 in ratchet.
It takes steel wire up to 3 mm and poly or braided wire up to 3.5 mm. The ratchet teeth are close together for fine adjustment, and the plastic body reduces rust and the reaction between different metals.
The body is UV-stabilised glass-filled nylon in black. It is rated to 450 kg of spring tension, 0 to 12 kV and -40 to 80 °C.
