A hand strainer for tightening fence wire. The grab bites the wire, you hook the chain to a post and work the handle to pull the wire tight. Use it on new wire or to strain a broken one.
The grips are smooth, with no teeth, to limit damage to the galvanised coating on high-tensile wire. It works on a single wire or together with boundary clamps.
