Description
A 5 J fencer for long fences and overgrown boundaries, with stock that are hard to hold: sheep, cattle and boar. It delivers 5 J at a peak of 14,100 V and 43 pulses a minute.
It can run three ways: from Lacme's mains adaptor, from a 12 V lead-acid battery charged by solar panels, or from the adaptor with a 12 V battery behind it so the fence keeps going through a power cut. Only Lacme's own adaptor may be used. Battery and panels are bought separately.
Earthing: galvanised steel stakes 2 m long, 4 m apart, linked with heavy galvanised cable, at least 5 in good ground and 10 or more in difficult ground, and at least 10 m from any building's earth. Use it under cover and stand it upright on a flat surface.
